Kimberly McGowan

Kim McGowan is an experienced trial lawyer and managing partner of the firm’s Duluth, GA office. She represents individuals and families in serious injury and death cases resulting from car, truck and motorcycle accidents, dangerous property conditions, dram shop claims, and work-related accidents. Prior to joining the firm, Kim represented several of the state’s largest insurance companies in complex litigation involving policy coverage and claim disputes as well as subrogation actions. This insider’s view into the way insurers defend cases is a true asset to her practice today, and plays a key role in the winning strategies implemented by the firm.
Kim has tried over 60 cases, routinely producing exceptional results on behalf of clients in matters with particularly challenging legal and factual issues. A native of Florida, Kim received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law. She is an active member of the State Bar of Georgia and Georgia Trial Lawyers Association and is licensed to practice in all state and federal courts in the Peach State.
In her spare time, Kim enjoys spending time with her family on Lake Lanier and at Georgia’s beautiful parks and recreation areas.
